Network & Connect w/ Aggie Alumni
Aggie Connect is a platform that enables students to connect with UC Davis Alumni who are now working professionals and looking to mentor fellow Aggies. This platform requires UC Davis students and alumni to submit an application to join the network. Once in, a student user can customize their profiles to highlight what they are looking for, their previous experience, and campus involvement. Alumni users have the opportunity to showcase their background, industry experience, as well as their experiences attending UC Davis. Setting up profiles in this manner allow users to understand whether the mentor-mentee relationship will be beneficial for both sides.

Most people know what climate change is, but the problem is overwhelming for most individuals to tackle alone. I wanted to break down the problem to encourage people to start forming simple eco-friendly habits that they could integrate into their daily lives.

Analyzing customer satisfaction, feedback, and company data revealed that users faced an overwhelming amount of content on mobile shopping applications. With the mobile applications having much higher rates of engagement and conversion, users needed a way to filter their experience to find the right products efficiently and effectively.

This project was a result of a UX study that aimed to innovate new ways for music-goers to find their friends amongst massive crowds, miles of stages, and no cell reception. Banded features a thin, sleek, wristband that helps locate friends through preset radio frequencies. Each band is equipped with a small digital clock, a button, and a light, and is powered through solar energy.

As the world progresses forward and resources become more limited, sustainability presents itself as a key factor in food production. While many countries and cultures traditionally have used insects as food, the United States is not as accustomed to this idea. However, our main sources of meat, most notably cattle, are not environmentally friendly and leave a large carbon footprint. This project explores introducing the concept of edible insects to the American audience as a delightful and consumable product.
